Simone Biles struck gold in more ways than one during 2024 Paris Olympics.
The 27-year-old's husband, Jonathan Owens, was in the stands as she and Team USA took home gold during the Women’s Gymnastics Team All-Around final on July 30.
The Chicago Bears player sat next to his in-laws, Nellie and Ronald Biles, wearing a shirt featuring a collage of photos of his wife for the historic occasion.
Ahead of the show-stopping event, Owens, 29, celebrated attending the Olympics on his Instagram Story, posting a selfie on the plane, writing, "Coming for you baby."
In a video for NBC Sports, Owens shared the plane had a "slight delay" but noted "can't wait to get there."
The football player also posted a photo from inside the arena as he waited for his wife to compete alongside Jordan Chiles, Sunisa Lee and Jade Carey. (Hezly Rivera did not competed in the qualifier but not the final.)
As Biles took to the beam, Owens was seen in the stands cheering her on and waving an American flag in the air.
The Chicago Bears safety is currently on break from training camp after he previously confirmed he negotiated the break into his contract with the NFL.
And when she did make her third Olympic team, he gushed about her athletic success.
"No words can describe how proud of you I am baby," Owens captioned a photo of himself kissing Biles at the time. "Just knowing all the work that you put in and everything that you’ve been through, and to still come back and be as dominant as ever, I was speechless. I’m so thankful to be apart of this journey with you, and I cant wait to be able to watch you out there in Paris."
Of course Jonathan wasn’t the only star cheering on Team USA at the gymnastics final as Jason Kelce and Kylie Kelce, Keith Urban, Serena Williams and more were flipping out as the gymnasts took the mat. For more stars cheering on Team USA, read on.
